Several cyclists gathered at Fountain Square Wednesday with Ray Grady of Evanston Northwestern Healthcare, Chris Mailing of Turin Bicycle and Mayor Lorraine Morton for a news conference announcing the second annual Evanston Northwestern Healthcare Grand Prix of Cycling event coming up on Sunday, July 20.

Fountain Square will be the center of the action that day as the cyclists race up Orrington Avenue and then back down Sherman Avenue to compete across the downtown course.

The event will run from 9 a.m until 8 p.m. and spectators will have over 30 restaurants to choose from along the course, most offering outdoor dining.

More information is available on the event website.
