A video thanks at Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving can be a time of inspiration. It is for me this year.

Last week I attended a Digital Storytelling workshop that gave me a new way to say "thanks" and tell a personal story of the journey I've been on looking for new ways to contribute to the community.

From the experience of working on Ellen Scrodt's local cable TV show for two years I've made friendships that have led to a fresh concept for a video show on local arts, culture entertainment and stories and for an online database of arts events on Evanston Now.

So, I'm inspired this Thanksgiving, despite the uncertainty that surrounds us.

And for this, I am most thankful!
