Recap: Planning and Development Committee

2771 Crawford Ave.

Here's a recap of our live coverage of tonight's Evanston City Council Planning and Development Committee meeting.

A packet with information on tonight's agenda items is available online.

Three items on the agenda tonight -- including a request of grant landmark status to "the house that moved" -- a Prairie-style home that was relocated from Wilmette to a lot at 2771 Crawford Ave. in Evanston.

Meeting called to order at 7:18 p.m.

Minutes approved.

P 1 - Plat of resubdivision for 917-919 Edgemere Court.

Would move the common lot line about 10 feet to the north ... making the south lot (917) larger.

Approved for action.

P 2 - Special use for Sushi Burrito, 1565 Sherman Ave.

Approved for introduction.

P 3 - Landmark status for 2771 Crawford Ave.

Alderman Eleanor Revelle says photos in the packet show a real commitment to historic preservation.

Meeting adjourned at 7:21 p.m.

City Council meeting to follow immediately.
