Here’s a recap of our live coverage of tonight’s Evanston City Council Administration and Public Works Committee meeting.

The aldermen are scheduled to approve buying two new boats for the Parks and Recreation Department and seven used motorcycles for the police department.

The meeting was called to order at 6:14 p.m.

Alderman Peter Braithwaite is chairing the meeting. Aldermen Melissa Wynne, Delores Holmes and Ann Rainey are present. Alderman Brian Miller is absent.

A 3.3 – Special Events Calendar.

One new event is a classic motorcycle show.

A 3.4 – HVAC and electrical engineering services at Chandler Newberger Center. Approved.

A 3.5 – Cleanslate Chicago mowing service contract at four city parks. Approved

A 3.6 – Two new boats for Parks Department. Approved.

A 3.7 – Purchase of seven (used) motorcycles for police department. Approved.

A 3.8 – Honoray street sign for Pope John XXIII school. Approved.
