Sinobia Aiden, a recent graduate of Evanston Township High School, is one of four Chicago-area students selected for an eight-week paid internship this summer as part of the Bank of America’s Student Leaders program.
Her internship, at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, is the bank’s way of providing students with valuable work experience while also supporting a nonprofit organization with extra help this summer.
Aiden, who will be attending Arizona State University in the fall, has been involved with Students Organized Against Racism (SOAR ) for four years and as a member of the leadership board of the organization for three years.
She also organized and led a Black Lives Matter protest in Evanston, organized a women’s empowerment conference, and volunteered more than 100 hours as a Global Visionaries Leader, a youth-led leadership development organization.
