Now in its 60th year, Evanston Township High School’s iconic student revue YAMO opens Friday, Oct. 6, for a seven-night run in the school’s Upstairs Theatre.
YAMO is completely written, directed and performed by ETHS students each year. YAMO annually pokes fun at current events, but this year’s theme is a murder mystery with more than 100 actors, singers, musicians and stage crew presenting “YAMO, She Wrote.”
YAMO show dates are Oct. 6, 7, 13, 14, 19, 20, and 21 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets at $12 are available online at www.ethstheatre.com for pre-selected, self-print tickets. Early ticket purchase is advised as the shows sell out quickly and tickets will not be sold at the door.
The Upstairs Theatre is wheelchair accessible by elevator. Parking is recommended in the school’s rear parking lot; enter off of Lake or Church Streets. For more information about YAMO, contact the ETHS Fine Arts Office at 847-424-7130.
