Willard to hold science fair

A Science Fair will be held at Willard Elementary School, 2700 Hurd Ave., on Mar. 18 from 7 to 8PM.  Approximately 100 students from grades K-5 will be participating.  This is Willard's first all-school Science Fair.  The theme "Excite - Explore - Excel" has focused on getting students enthused about science.  To increase participation, volunteer parents and Northwestern University students have assisted Willard students who needed help with their projects.  It's a PTA-sponsored event with lots of teacher/school administration involvement.  The event is free and open to the public.  For more information, call the school at 847-859-8110.
