Jeff Smith Acknowledged by Governor Quinn

Evanstonian Jeff Smith received a nice shout-out from the Governor of Illinois at this weekend's 65th anniversary dinner of the IVI-IPO. Keynote speaker Pat Quinn, answering a question from the audience about the unfinished business of budget and reform in Springfield, ad-libbed that we need more legislators of courage, "people like Jeff Smith running for state representative." Obviously many in Evanston would agree.
