Someone broke a door to enter a garage at a home in the 700 block of Brown Avenue between 9 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and stole car stereo equipment.

Drugs
Tony Wright, Jr., 17, of 1224 Florence Ave., was arrested at 1600 Dodge Ave. at 2:19 p.m. Monday and charged with possession of cannabis. He is due in court on March 13 at 9 a.m.
Other
Brashawna Lekeisha Robinson, 20, of 249 E. 113th St., Chicago, was arrested at 2289 Howard St. at 11:45 a.m. Tuesday and charged with deceptive practice. She is due in court on March 14 at 1:30 p.m.
Shots heard
Gunshots were reported in the 800 block of Howard Street about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police checked but found nothing amiss.
Theft
Someone broke into a locker in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and stole a laptop computer. Suspect is a 5-foot-9-inch-tall black male weighing 160 pounds.
Traffic
Dominic A. Connerly, 20, of 1715 Brown Ave., was arrested at 1823 Lyons St. at 9:28 p.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 14 at 1:30 p.m.
Jermani Ariel Gaines, 19, of 4852 Hull, Skokie, was arrested at 1567 Dewey Ave. at 5:02 p.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 16 at 9 a.m.
Sylvester Lee Norfleet, 27, of 131 Ridge Ave., was arrested at 2100 Payne St. at 8:46 p.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 28 at 9 a.m.
Raul Vazquez-Ramos, 39, of 6171 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested at 619 Howard St. at 4:33 p.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 9 at 9 a.m.
