Water main break on Lake Street

Water service will remain shut off until around mid-afternoon today to repair a break in a main in the 2400 block of Lake Street in Evanston.

City officials says the street will be closed intermittently to perform the reair work from Fowler Avenue west to King Lab School.

Local traffic will be detoured onto the alley during these street closures.
