Tremendous Bravery

I just wanted to express my support and appreciation for the men and women of the Evanston Police Department. To the young Officer I saw exiting the home with his arm bleeding and bandaged, I want to say please take care and my prayers are with you. To the all the others involved, I want to say thank you. I was at that scene with many others after the fact. I heard all saying that prior to the officers arrival this man, the offender, had a crazed and out of control look in his eyes. The officers bravely entered the home and confronted this knife wielding man. They performed their duty,
one that many of us would never wish to do, courageously.

Thank you for all you do.

This is the second fatal

This is the second fatal shooting on the same block in less than 1 year. Evanston needs to do something to get that area cleaned up. It's especially scary becuase it is right by the school.

Could Not Agree More!

I totally agree - our police officers performed very well, and perform well on a daily basis. They have my respect (as does EFD).
