Downtown gets new marketing website

EvMark, the non-profit downtown marketing organization, unveiled a new website at its public board meeting Thursday.

The new look coincides with the adoption of a new name for the group's marketing efforts. Instead of calling itself EvMark in marketing materials, it now will be known as "Downtown Evanston," though it will hang onto EvMark as its formal title.

While the new branding name is "Downtown Evanston," the website, at least for now, is at "evanstondowntown.com."

The new site was created by NeigerDesign Inc. of Evanston.
