Police investigate hotel stabbing incident

Evanston police detectives are still investigating an incident overnight at the Best Western University Plaza Hotel.

Police Commander Tom Guenther shortly after 4 p.m. today said he still had no details on the incident because it was still under investigation.

But a source tells Evanston Now that a fight that broke out during a party at the hotel left as many as four people with stab wounds.

The hotel is located at 1501 Sherman Ave. downtown.
