The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago is resuming work on the Orrington Avenue leg of the sewer system downtown.

Traffic patterns will be altered at the traffic island where Orrington meets with Sherman Avenue and Davis Street starting on Monday.

There will be no detours ,but some traffic lanes will be closed:

On Orrington between Grove and Davis streets, northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane.

On Davis between Chicago and Sherman avenues, westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane.

On Sherman between Davis and Grove streets, one southbound lane will be closed occasionally for material and equipment deliveries.
