Computer, credit cards, cash stolen at St. Francis

A tablet computer, along with cash and credit cards, were taken from an office at Presence St. Francis Hospital. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

600 South Boulevard

A wallet was taken from an unlocked 2008 Ford in the driveway of a home in the 600 block of South Boulevard between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. yesterday.

Criminal Trespass

2201 Dempster

Eric P. Seaton, 28, of 620 Lee St., and Adrian O. Tayloe, 26, of 4700 Old Orchard Road, Skokie, were arrested at 2201 Dempster St. at 4:30 p.m. Monday and charged with criminal trespass of a vehicle. They are due in court on March 14 at 9 a.m.

Darrow at Lake

A man with a gun was reported near Darrow Avenue and Lake Street at 9:15 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found no man with a gun.

Theft

300 Ridge

A tablet computer, cash, and credit cards, left unattended in an office at Presence St. Francis Hospital, were stolen yesterday between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Traffic

400 Asbury

Francis Y. Bijou, 64, of 8723 Trumbull Ave., Skokie, was arrested at 400 Asbury Ave. at 1:14 p.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Feb. 17 at 1:30 p.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
