Burglars broke glass to access a grocery store in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue at 5:18 a.m. today.
Jade K. Mercado, 35, of 6319 N. Artesian, Chicago, was arrested at 1904 Foster St. at 3:02 a.m. yesterday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He is due in court on March 1 at 9 a.m.
Hull at Ridge
Graffiti was discovered near Hull Terrace and Ridge Avenue at 11:19 a.m. yesterday.
Hygiene products that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 1200 block of Chicago Avenue were stolen between 2:42 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Feb. 2.
Edin Demirovic, 19, of 6833 N. Kedzie Ave., was arrested at 2485 Howard St. at 9:22 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on March 21 at 9 a.m.
Constalina Ashley Kinnison, 27, of 14 Treeview Drive, Lithonia, Ga., was arrested at 1218 Ridge Ave. at 5:39 a.m. Friday and charged with driving under the influence. She is due in court on March 21 at 9 a.m.
Nolan D. Mason, 36, of 6825 S. Perry Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1802 Lake St. at 10:30 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.
Mohammad Jona Samhan, 61, of 9440 S. McVicker Ave., Oak Lawn, was arrested at 608 Dodge Ave. at 1:01 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on April 14 at 10:30 a.m.
