Sod cutter stolen at Greenwood and Dodge

Someone forced open a sliding gate at a business parking lot at Greenwood Street and Dodge Avenue and stole a sod cutter. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.


2200 Orrington

The burglary of a residential garage was reported in the 2200 block of Orrington Avenue between 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

1700 Dempster

Someone scratched a 2016 Hyundai in the 1700 block of Dempster Street between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. yesterday.


2650 Ridge

Jamir M. Johnson, 24, of 1324 Hartrey Ave., and Dakane L. Masters, 21, of 9552 Lawndale Ave., Skokie, were arrested at 2650 Ridge Ave. at 4:30 p.m. yesterday and charged with disorderly conduct. They are due in court on May 30 at 1:30 p.m.


Greenwood at Dodge

Someone forced open a sliding gate to a business parking lot at Greenwood Street and Dodge Avenue between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. yesterday and stole a sod cutter.

1600 Dodge

A cell phone left unattended at Evanston Township High School was stolen yesterday around noon.

2100 Dempster

Packing materials were taken from a retail establishment in the 2100 block of Dempster Street around 2:45 p.m. yesterday.


2001 Emerson

Rachel M. Guidone, 32, of 228 N. Graylynn Drive, Mt. Prospect, was arrested at 2001 Emerson St. at 2 a.m. today and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. She is due in court on May 17 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
