Wood pallets stolen from establishment on Oakton

Wood pallets were taken from a retail establishment in the 2200 block of Oakton Street.This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Theft

2200 Oakton

Someone stole wood pallets from a retail establishment in the 2200 block of Oakton Street between 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. yesterday.

2400 Main

A grey gym bag was stolen from a store in the 2400 block of Main Street around 11:46 a.m. yesterday.

700 Church

A wallet was removed from a purse in a restaurant in the 700 block of Church Street between 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. yesterday

Battery

126 Custer

Jose A. Renteria, 28, of 735 Brummel St., was arrested at 126 Custer Ave. at 12:50 a.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Nov. 22 at 9:30 a.m.

Criminal Damage

2600 Gross Point

Someone damaged a window at a restaurant in the 2600 block of Gross Point Road between 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and 1 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Trespass

720 Clark

Henry L. Graham, 43, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 720 Clark St. at 1:40 p.m. yesterday and charged with trespassing on real property. He is due in court on Dec. 28 at 9 a.m.

Other

Dodge at Brummel

Police received a report of a man with a gun at Dodge Avenue and Brummel Street at 2:54 p.m. yesterday. They checked the area but found no man with a gun.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
