Delivered packages stolen on Michigan, Howard

Packages delivered to apartments in the 900 block of Michigan Avenue and the 300 block of Howard Street were reported stolen yesterday. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Theft

900 Michigan

A package containing clothing that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 900 block of Michigan Avenue was stolen yesterday between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

300 Howard

A package containing clothing and cosmetics that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 300 block of Howard Street was stolen between Nov. 24 and 11:22 a.m. yesterday.

600 Chicago

Products were reported stolen at the Walgreens pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue at 8:58 p.m. yesterday.

Shots Heard

1700 Hovland

Gunshots were reported in the 1700 block of Hovland Court at 8:23 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Traffic

2400 Main

Sandra Gail Avery-Dozie, 63, of 1010 Pitner Ave., was arrested at 2400 Main St. Wednesday at 5:05 p.m. and was charged with driving under the influence. She is due in court on Dec. 26 at 1:30 p.m.

1224 Chicago

Jeff David Dorsey, 52, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 1224 Chicago Ave. at 1:50 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Dec. 22 at 10:30 a.m.

200 Asbury

Jose Eduardo, 46, of 1932 Brown Ave., was arrested at 200 Asbury Ave. at 12:26 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Dec. 22 at 10:30 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
