Theft

1400 Chicago

A delivery of furniture to an apartment common area in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue was stolen between 9 a.m. Wednesday and 11:05 a.m. yesterday.

1600 Benson

A passenger on a bus was the victim of a thief who stole her purse between 3:38 p.m. and 4 p.m. yesterday.

Burglary

2400 Main

A bag was stolen from an unlocked 2015 Jeep in a business parking lot in the 2400 block of Main Street between 6:50 p.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday.

400 Keeney

Someone entered an apartment in the 400 block of Keeney Street by removing a rear window and stole a laptop computer between 8:45 a.m. and 6:51 p.m. yesterday.

Oak at Greenwood

Cash was taken from a 2017 Subaru parked near Oak Avenue and Greenwood Street between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 2:45 p.m.yesterday.

Traffic

1414 Church

Jeremiah M. Ross, 20, of 2302 Horeb Ave., Zion, was arrested at 1414 Church St. at 4:23 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 30 at 9 a.m.

1914 Dobson

Raul Zamora-Duran, 25, of 1816 Dobson St., was arrested at 1914 Dobson St. at 5:21 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on April 20 at 10:30 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
