Of 10 car burglaries in Evanston over the weekend, only one involved a car that was locked. These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Battery

612 South Boulevard

James J. Etienne, 32, of 1241 Leon Place, was arrested at 612 South Boulevard at 4:28 a.m. today and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on July 5 at 9:30 a.m.

1720 Monroe

Manuel Tirado, 42, of 1720 Monroe St., was arrested at that address at 4 p.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on July 5 at 9:30 a.m.

Burglary

600 South Boulevard

A burglar dmaged the rear window to access a 2010 Ford in the 600 block of South Boulevard between 11 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.

600 Custer

A lock was damaged at an apartment common area as a mountain bike was stolen in the 600 block of Custer Avenue between June 8 and 5:30 p.m. June 12.

1000 Crain

An unlocked 2014 Toyota was accessed in the 1000 block of Crain Street between 8 p.m. Friday and 11:45 a.m. Saturday.

1800 Oak

The passenger side window was damaged on a 2007 Volkswagen in the 1800 block of Oak Avenue as it was burglarized between 10:45 a.m. and 12:39 p.m. Friday.

2100 Maple

An unlocked 2006 Toyota was burglarized in an apartment parking space in the 2100 block of Maple Avenue around 1:48 a.m. yesterday.

2100 Ridge

An unlocked  2005 Dodge was burglarized in an apartment parking space in the 2100 block of Ridge Avenue around 1:53 a.m. yesteerday.

2000 Pratt

An unlocked 2004 Acura was burglarized in the 2000 block of Pratt Court between 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. yesterday.

700 Brummel

Burglars took cash, jewelry, and a cell phone from an apartment in the 700 block of Brummel Street between 10 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Friday.

600 Oakton

An unlocked 2010 Toyota was burglarized in the 600 block of Oakton Street between 4:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:10 p.m. Friday. Cash was reported missing.

999 Noyes

Tramel Deonta Santarrelli, 19, of 141 Tracy Ave., Riverdale, was arrested at 999 Noyes St. at 6:10 p.m. yesterday and charged with burglary.

Criminal Damage

800 Seward

Someone keyed the trunk and driver’s side of a 2009 Mercedes in an apartment parking space in the 800 block of Seward Street between midnight Saturday and 10:45 a.m. yesterday

1100 Chicago

Someone keyed the hood of a 2012 Mazda in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 4:23 p.m. Friday.

Criminal Trespass

1303 Mulford

DeJuan C. Banks, 21, of 4113 S. Indiana Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1303 Mulford St. at 10:25 a.m. yesterday and charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle. He is due in court on July 5 at 10:30 a.m.

901 Davis

Nicholas R. Cholewinski, 23, of 7415 Tiffany Drive, Orland Park, was arrested at 901 Davis St. at 9 p.m. Friday and charged with criminal trespass to real property.  He is due in court on July 10 at 9 a.m.

Other

2121 Foster

Tracy S. Williams, 42, of 2121 Foster St., was arrested at that address at 11:38 p.m. yesterday and charged with violation of an order of protection. He is due in court on Aug. 14 at 9 a.m.

Shots Heard

200 Custer

Gunshots were reported at 200 Custer Ave. at 11:31 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Theft

1700 Monroe

Keys and a backpack were removed from a 2004 Pontiac in the 1700 block of Monroe Street around 9:04 p.m. Saturday.

700 Washington

A tablet computer, cash, jewelry, and miscellaneous merchandise, left unlocked in a tent in the 700 block of Washington Street, were stolen between 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. yesterday.

1100 Chicago

Alcoholic products were taken from a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 4:15 p.m. Friday.

1500 Maple

A bicycle locked to a bike rack in the 1500 block of Maple Avenue was stolen between 4 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

1600 Dodge

A Schwinn bicycle was stolen from a bike rack in the 1600 block of Dodge Avenue between 6 a.m. and 5:55 p.m. Saturday.

1303 Mulford

Najolie J. Evans, 22, of 657 E. 37th St., Chicago, was arrested at 1303 Mulford St. at 11:50 a.m. yesterday and charged with stealing an automobile.

601 South Boulevard

Gregory M. Flores, 47, address unknown, was arrested at 601 South Boulevard at 4:14 p.m. Friday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on July 31 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

616 Hull

Elizabeth Alexis Granberry, 25, of 7411 N. Winchester Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 616 Hull Terrace at 7:45 a.m. Saturday and charged with driving under the influence. 

7553 Damen

Christopher D. Rodgers, 35, of 1549 W. Jonquil Terrace, Chicago, was arrested at 7553 N.  Damen Ave., Chicago, at 4:39 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 12 at 9 a.m.
