Burglars broke into a 2003 Honda and a 1997 Ford in the 1800 block of Brummel Street. These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

1800 Brummel

A 2003 Honda and a 1997 Ford were broken into in the 1800 block of Brummel Street between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 9:21 a.m. yesterday.

2200 Emerson

A laptop computer and other electronics were taken from the garage of a home in the 2200 block of Emerson Street between 3 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. yesterday.

Other

300 Callan

Police received a report of a man with a gun in the 300 block of Callan Avenue at 2:33 p.m. yesterday. They checked the area but found no man with a gun.

Theft

1900 Dodge

A red 2008 Lexus was stolen from the 1900 block of Dodge Avenue between 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 5:20 a.m. yesterday.

Traffic

1425 Howard

Maritza Arreguin-Ramirez, 25, of 7425 N. Damen Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1425 Howard St. at 8:17 p.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Sept. 13 at 1:30 p.m.
