Burglary

2400 Ridgeway

Two mountain bikes and a blue moped scooter were stolen from an unlocked garage in the 2400 block of Ridgeway Avenue between 8 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. yesterday.

800 Madison

An unlocked 2003 Mercedes-Benz was entered in the 800 block of Madison Street around 10:50 p.m. Monday.

700 Dobson

Cash and documents were stolen out of an unlocked Nissan in an alley in the 700 block of Dobson Street between 8 p.m. Monday and 6:45 a.m. yesterday.

Drugs

1454 Elmwood

Sean D. Morrow, 28, of 1115 S. Plymouth Court, Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 4:30 p.m. Monday and charged with possessing a controlled substance.

Graffiti

800 Chicago

Graffiti was discovered in the 800 block of Chicago Avenue at 7 a.m. yesterday.

Theft

1600 Lake

A mens bicycle was taken from the sidewalk in the 1600 block of Lake Street between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. yesterday.

Traffic

1214 Greenleaf

Alberto Torres, 41, of 2009 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 1214 Greenleaf St. at 8:03 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Aug. 17 at 10:30 a.m.
