Two bicycles were reported stolen in the 1700 block of Wesley Avenue and the 1800 block of Ridge Avenue. These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

1700 Wesley

A black and orange bicycle was stolen from the unlocked garage of a home in the 1700 block of Wesley Avenue between noon and 5:30 p.m. yesterday.

1800 Ridge

A gray and black Cannondale bicycle was stolen from an apartment common area in the 1800 block of Ridge Avenue between May 13 and 9:30 a.m. yesterday.

2120 Wilmette

Pedro Torres, 50, of 2715 W. Harrison St., Chicago, was arrested at 2120 Wilmette Road at 12:30 p.m. yesterday and charged with burglary. He is due in court on June 2 at 9 a.m.

Theft

2300 Noyes

Cash was removed from a purse at an apartment common area in the 2300 block of Noyes Court between 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. yesterday.

Traffic

1200 Ridge

Eric D. Mitchell, 40, of 3146 W. Wallen Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1200 Ridge Ave. at 8:29 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 5 at 10:30 a.m.
