2420 Main

Malcolm Novado Lyons, 27, of 716 Reba Place, was arrested at 2420 Main St. at 3:43 p.m. Friday and charged with assault. He is due in court on April 21 at 9 a.m.


400 Grove

Cash was taken from a 2012 Mini Cooper parked, unlocked, on the street in the 400 block of Grove Street  between 10 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

1200 Mulford

Someone pried open the door to a home in the 1200 block of Mulford Street between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

Criminal Damage

600 Dodge

Manuel Tirado, 42, of 1720 Monroe St., was arrested at 600 Dodge Ave. at 4:07 p.m. Saturday and charged with criminal damage in connection with a window that was broken on a Chicago Transit Authority bus near Dodge Avenue and Oakton Street around 3:24 p.m. Saturday. He is due in court on April 28 at 9 a.m.


2400 Dempster

Joe P. McKenna, 20, of 1038 Florence Ave., was arrested at 2400 Dempster St. at 9:02 p.m. Saturday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He is due in court on April 25 at 9 a.m.


1700 Sherman

Graffiti defaced a restaurant in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue between midnight and 7 a.m. on Saturday.


2400 Howard

Someone stole alcoholic products at a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

1000 Chicago

A brown 2015 Nissan Altima with no license plate was stolen from an auto dealership in the 1000 block of Chicago Avenue between Jan. 1 and noon on Feb. 28.

100 South Boulevard

Two bicycles were stolen from the yard of a home in the 100 block of South Boulevard between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7:22 a.m. Friday.

600 Davis

Merchandise was stolen from a store in the 600 block of Davis Street around 10:22 a.m. Thursday.

1700 Benson

Jewelry left unattended at an athletic club in the 1700 block of Benson Avenue was stolen around 10:30 a.m. on March 5.

2485 Howard

Creed V. McGee, 51, of 1934 Jackson Ave., was arrested at 2485 Howard St. at 4:57 p.m. Thursday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on April 4 at 10:30 a.m.


Ridge at Greenleaf

Marcus D. Davis, 31, of 6303 N. Claremont Ave., was arrested at Ridge Avenue and Greenleaf Street at 4:27 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 3 at 10:30 a.m.

Simpson at Green Bay

Millicent Bradleigh Kennedy, 26, of 2713 Central St., was arrested at Simpson Street and Green Bay Road at 3:37 a.m. Saturday and charged with driving under the influence. She is due in court on May 5 at 10:30 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
