A 2011 Subaru and a 2007 Volkswagen were stolen and five unlocked cars were burglarized recently. These among the stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

THEFT

2600 Central

A white 2011 Subaru Forester was stolen out of a parking garage in the 2600 block of Central Street between 10:30 p.m. Thursday and 9:45 a.m. Friday.

200 Custer

A white 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit was taken from the 200 block of Custer Street by unknown means between 5:20 p.m. on Dec. 27 and 10 a.m. Thursday.

900 Pitner

The rear license plate of a 2017 Honda was stolen at about 8:11 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Pitner Avenue.

500 Main

Cash was taken from the safe of a restaurant in the 500 block of Main Street between 3:54 p.m. on Dec. 21 and 10:35 a.m. Tuesday.

1000 Main

A package was stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of Main Street at 2:49 p.m. Sunday.

1100 Davis

A package was stolen from a residence in the 1100 block of Davis Street between 6:14 a.m. and 5:52 p.m. Thursday.

1600 Ridge

A package was stolen from a residence in the 1600 block of Ridge Avenue between 11:45 a.m. on Dec. 23 and 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

2200 Sherman

A Boulder bicycle, secured to a bike rack in the 2200 block of Sherman Avenue, was stolen between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 8 p.m. Thursday.

600 Chicago

Alcoholic products were stolen from a liquor store in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue around 10 p.m. Saturday.

1600 Chicago

Cell phones were taken from the AT&T Store in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue at about 10:45 a.m. Saturday.

BURGLARY

1800 Brummel

Miscellaneous items were stolen from an unlocked 2016 Honda in the 1800 block of Brummel Street between midnight on Dec. 19 and 9 p.m. on Dec. 20.

Jewelry was stolen from an unlocked 2016 Nissan in the 1800 block of Brummel Street between 1 p.m. Wednesday and 4:34 p.m. Thursday.

1700 Seward

Miscellaneous items were stolen from an unlocked Honda in the 1700 block of Seward Street between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 2:44 a.m. Thursday.

1700 Madison

Cash was stolen from an unlocked 2012 Dodge in the 1700 block of Madison Street around 10:34 a.m. Saturday.

600 Oakton

Personal items were stolen from an unlocked 2008 Volkswagen in the 600 block of Oakton Street between 9:05 p.m. Thursday and 7:20 a.m. Friday.

2400 Oakton

Miscellaneous items were stolen from multiple storage units in a storage facility in the 2400 block of Oakton Street between 6:44 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday.

400 South Boulevard

Miscellaneous items were taken from an unlocked garage of a residence in the 400 block of South Boulevard between 2:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

BATTERY

2152 Brown

Calvin J. Utley, 22, of 2152 Brown Ave., was arrested at that address at 5:49 p.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

1100 Pitner

The door of a residence in the 1100 block of Pitner Avenue was damaged around 3 a.m. Saturday.

TRAFFIC

216 Dodge

Gamaliel Mota-Roman, 36, of 6710 N. Campbell Ave., was arrested at 216 Dodge Ave. at 11:35 p.m. Friday and charged with driving under the influence.

1600 Dodge

Branden B. Eubanks, 28, of 7556 N. Claremont Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1600 Dodge Ave. at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday and charged with driving under the influence.

2205 Cleveland

John Rivera, 22, of 2131 Harrison Ave., Rockford, was arrested at 2205 Cleveland St. at 9:02 p.m. Wednesday and charged with driving under the influence.

1699 Thelin

Ismael Rebollo-Gonzalez, 37, of 1815 Greenwood St., was arrested at 1699 Thelin Court at 9:54 a.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation.
