Evanston police received two reports last night of gunshots on Church Street—one at Fowler Avenue, the other at Hartrey Avenue—just west of Evanston Township High School. These are among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Church at Fowler and Hartrey
Gunshots were reported last night at Church Street and Fowler Avenue at 10:19 p.m. and at Church Street and Hartrey Avenue at 12:16 a.m. Police checked both areas, but found nothing.
Battery
1812 Foster
Lusher L. White, 31, of 3450 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1812 Foster St. at 2:13 p.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Aug. 22 at 9:30 a.m.
Burglary
1400 Dobson
A purse and a bag were taken from an unlocked 2015 Subaru in the 1400 block of Dobson St. between 4 p.m. yesterday and 6:46 a.m. today.
1500 Sherman
Tools were removed from an unlocked 2017 Ford in a business parking lot in the 1500 block of Sherman Avenue between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. yesterday.
1500 Hinman
Cash and a laptop computer were stolen from an unlocked apartment in the 1500 block of Hinman Avenue between 7:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. yesterday.
2000 Greenleaf
Two gas cans and miscellaneous merchandise were missing from a business parking lot in the 2000 block of Greenleaf Street between 4:37 a.m. and 5:29 a.m. yesterday.
2600 Payne
A purse, a bag, and a laptop computer were stolen from an unlocked home in the 2600 block of Payne Street between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. yesterday.
800 Lincoln
A bicycle was reported stolen from the unlocked garage of a home in the 800 block of Lincoln Street between 10 p.m. on August 4 and 7:30 a.m. Monday.
900 Dobson
Someone forced the door open to an apartment storage area in the 900 block of Dobson St. between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. yesterday and stole an air conditioner appliance.
Criminal Damage
Judson at Greenleaf
Someone removed a sign from the pole at Judson Avenue and Greenleaf Street shortly after midnight today.
Graffiti
600 South Boulevard
Graffiti was discovered on railroad property in the 600 block of South Boulevard at 7:11 a.m. today.
Theft
800 Sherman
A bicycle was reported stolen from a home in the 800 block of Sherman Avenue between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. yesterday.
2100 Green Bay
Merchandise was taken from a pharmacy in the 2100 block of Green Bay Road at 2:19 p.m. yesterday.
1900 Foster
A red bicycle and tools were among items taken from an unsecured yard of a home in the 1900 block of Foster Street between Aug. 8 and 10:48 a.m. yesterday.
Traffic
425 Sherman
Ricardo J. Fernandez, 63, of 1624 W. Lunt Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 425 Sherman Ave. at 5:58 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 20 at 9 a.m.
1218 Forest
April L. Montgomery, 47, of 19031 Cypress Ave., County Club Hills, was arrested at 1218 Forest Ave. at 2:43 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Sept. 20 at 9 a.m.
