Burglars entered cars in the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue and the 2100 block of Asbury Avenue that were unlocked. These among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

2200 Ridge

Burglars entered an unlocked 2017 Jeep in the driveway of a home in the 2200 block of Ridge Avenue around 8:13 a.m. yesterday. Nothing was reported taken.

2100 Asbury

Burglars took cash from an unlocked 2008 Acura in the 2100 block of Asbury Avenue between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 4:10 p.m. yesterday.

900 Chicago

A burglar broke a window at a day care facility in the 900 block of Chicago Avenue between 7 p.m. Monday and 5 a.m. Tuesday and stole cash.

Other

7453 Hoyne

Ruben Roman, Jr., 19, of 5958 N. Paulina Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 7453 N. Hoyne Ave., Chicago, at 3:04 a.m. yesterday and was charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

Traffic

800 Lincoln

Felipe Quilenan, 33, of 2131 Ridge Ave., was arrested at 800 Lincoln St. at 8:09 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 17 at 10:30 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
