THEFT
2100 Sheridan
Two banners that welcome visitors to the Sheil Catholic Center at Northwestern University, including one banner in Korean, were taken between 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
800 Greenleaf
An unsecured bicycle was taken from the Nichols Middle School, in the 800 block of Greenleaf Street, at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
1100 Ashland
A Royal blue bicycle was stolen from the yard of a residence in the 1100 block of Ashland Avenue between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
2300 Green Bay
An unsecured purple Huffy bicycle was stolen from Kingsley Elementary School in the 2300 block of Green Bay Road around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
1700 Dodge
A green Huffy bicycle was stolen from the alley in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday.
A wallet and its contents were stolen at a barber shop in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue between 1:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

1936 Jackson
James E. Wright, 52, of 1934 Jackson Ave., was arrested at 1936 Jackson Ave. at 7:55 p.m. Sunday and charged with assault.
BURGLARY
739 Howard
Michael L, Calloway, 33, of 1624 S. St. Louis Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 739 Howard St. at 5:17 a.m. Friday and charged with burglary.
900 Michigan
A license plate was stolen from an unlocked residential garage in the 900 block of Michigan Avenue between 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.
900 Davis
Vape pens were stolen from a convenience store in the 900 block of Davis Street around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
1900 Dewey
A package that had been delivered to a residence in the 1900 block of Dewey Avenue was stolen at 1:40 p.m. Saturday.
2100 Central
Someone gained entry to an unlocked 2012 Honda between 9 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. Thursday and stole a wallet and its contents.
2900 Harrison
A burglar forced entry to a residence in the 2900 block of Harrison Street at 7:46 p.m. Thursday and stole a wallet and its contents.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
2100 McDaniel
A flag pole and a basketball hoop were damaged at a residence in the 2100 block of McDaniel Avenue at about 5 p.m. Wednesday.
2300 Brown
Someone broke the window of a 2019 Volkswagen in the 2300 block of Brown Street at 7:25 a.m. Friday.
300 Ridge
A patient’s cell phone was broken at AMITA Health Saint Francis Hospital, in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue, between 2:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Friday.
SHOTS HEARD
2100 Grey
Gunshots were reported in the 2100 block of Grey Avenue at 9:27 p.m. on Sept. 4. Police checked the area but found nothing.
TRAFFIC
800 Sheridan
Patrick R. Michiels, 59, of 912 Pontiac Road, Wilmette, was arrested at 800 Sheridan Road at 11:34 p.m. Saturday and charged with driving under the influence.
