1700 Howard

A gray 2008 Acura was stolen from the 1700 block of Howard Street between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. yesterday.

1600 Dodge

A cell phone and credit and debit cards were taken from an unlocked locker at Evanston Township High School between noon and 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Burglary

700 Ridge

Cash and cosmetics were taken from a 2013 Mercedes in the 700 block of Ridge Avenue between 8 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. yesterday.

Other

1033 Dempster

Dennis O. Wallace, 19, address unknown, was arrested at 1033 Dempster St. at 3:59 p.m. yesterday and charged with violating an order of protection.

Shots Heard

South Boulevard at Sherman

Gunshots were reported at South Boulevard and Sherman Avenue at 9:24 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Church at Ridge

Gunshots were reported at Church Street and Ridge Avenue at 10:50 p.m. Monday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Traffic

1000 Greenwood

Yaskiv Vasyl, 57, of 5356 W. Nelson Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1000 Greenwood St. at 8:20 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
