2014 Audi stolen on Monroe

A black four-door 2014 Audi was stolen in the 1300 block of Monroe Street. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

THEFT

1300 Monroe

A black four-door 2014 Audi was stolen from the 1300 block of Monroe Street between 4 p.m. Friday and 5:30 p.m. yesterday.

BURGLARY

Sherman at Reba

Cash and a bag were removed from an unlocked 2002 Toyota near Sherman Avenue and Reba Place between 5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. yesterday.

GRAFFITI

1600 Maple

Graffiti was discovered at 12:54 p.m. yesterday in an apartment common area in the 1600 block of Maple Avenue.

OTHER

3301 Dempster

Zachary L. Hergott, 24, of 1115 Dobson St., was arrested at 3301 Dempster St. at 3:47 p.m. Sunday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

SHOTS HEARD

Church at Leland

Gunshots were reported near Church Street and Leland Avenue at 10:04 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
