Evanston’s Ethnic Arts Festival sets up shop at Dawes Park on the Evanston Lakefront for its 28th annual run this weekend.

Festival hours are noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Dawes Park is located at Sheridan Road and Church Street.

Surrounded by the flags of more than 100 nations arrayed around the park lagoon, exhibitors will offer art work for sale created in cultural traditions from around the world. There will also be a variety of musical performances and food options to add to the festival atmosphere.
