Two Evanston residents and one Chicagoan were arrested Monday on battery charges. These among the stories in today's daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.
Kyle A. Hammontree, 27, of 124 Callan Ave., was arrested at his home at 11:15 p.m. Monday and charged with domestic battery. A court date was set for 9:30 a.m. April 20.
Nicholle A. Headley, 33, of 2024 Darrow Ave., was arrested at 2650 Ridge Ave. at 7:01 p.m. Monday and charged with aggravated battery and driving under the influence. A court date was set for 9 a.m. May 4.
Christopher D. Lawson, 29, of 5977 N. Clark, Chicago, was arrested at 1900 Dempster St. at 9:04 p.m. Monday and charged with aggravated battery. A court date was set for 10:30 a.m. May 3.
Someone attempted to force open a door to a residence in the 800 block of Mulford Street between March 21 and 3 p.m. Monday.
Criminal damage to property
Tracy Williams, 40, was arrested at 1043 Darrow Ave. at 5 a.m. yesterday and charged with criminal damage to property. A court date was set for 9 a.m. May 24.
Lusher L. White, 28, of 819 N. Laramie, Chicago, was arrested at 1100 Hartrey Ave. at 5:55 p.m. yesterday and charged with manufacturing or delivery of cannabis 30 grams or less. A court date was set for 9 a.m. June 1.
Motor vehicle theft
A 2014 Nissan four-door sedan was stolen from a new and used car lot in the 1000 block of Chicago Avenue at 12:36 p.m. Monday.
