3 battery incidents reported last night


There were three incidents involving persons being struck on the streets of Evanston around 7:30 p.m. last night. These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.


Dempster at Asbury

A victim was struck on the left side near Dempster Street and Asbury Avenue at 7:32 p.m. yesterday.

1000 Dodge

A victim was struck on the head in the 1000 block of Dodge Avenue at 7:20 p.m. yesterday.

1600 Emerson

A victim was struck on the left shoulder, forearm, and left eye on the sidewalk in the 1600 block of Emerson Street at 7:38 p.m. yesterday.


2017 Jackson

Carl H. Dennsion, 34, of 1407 Foster St., was arrested at 2017 Jackson Ave. at 7:08 p.m. Tuesday and charged with endangerment of the health of a child. He is due in court on Nov. 4 at 9 a.m.


Kedzie at Judson

Vehicle parts were stolen from a 1998 Toyota at Kedzie Street and Judson Avenue between 3 p.m. on Sunday and noon yesterday.

100 Asbury

Someone stole pain medication from a pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue at 1:40 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law.
