THEFT
700 Main
Three curbside mailboxes outside the U.S. Post Office branch in the 700 block of Main Street were found pryed open before 7 a.m. Monday and an unknown number of pieces of mail may have been taken or destroyed, postal officials told police.
700 Florence
A black 2007 Subaru Forester was stolen from the 700 block of Florence Avenue between 4:45 p.m. Monday and 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.
1900 Brown
A black 2014 Nissan Titan was stolen from the 1900 block of Brown Avenue between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 12, when it was left running with the keys inside.
1900 Lee
A registration sticker was removed from a vehicle in the 1900 block of Lee Street between Jan. 15 and 3 p.m. Monday.
1200 Hartrey
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2008 Toyota in the 1200 block of Hartrey Avenue between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Friday.
2200 Oakton
Merchandise was taken from a store in the 2200 block of Oakton Street around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
600 Chicago
Household supplies were stolen from the Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
BURGLARY
2100 Washington
Someone gained entry to a 2014 Subaru in the 2100 block of Washington Street between 6:45 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday and took the vehicle owners manual and other documents.
800 Main
Clothing was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Main Street around 11:30 a.m. Monday.
1500 Ridge
Someone ransacked a vehicle in a parking lot in the 1500 block of Ridge Avenue between 4 p.m. Sunday and 5:23 p.m. Monday.
1200 Sherman
Miscellaneous items were taken from an unlocked Jeep in the 1200 block of Sherman Avenue between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
1300 Fowler
Landscaping equipment was stolen from a garage at a parking lot in the 1300 block of Fowler Avenue between Jan. 15 and 6 p.m. Tuesday.
1200 Wesley
Electronic equipment was taken from an unlocked 2015 Lexus in the 1200 block of Wesley Avenue between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.
1800 Grant
Nothing was reported missing from a vacant residence in the 1800 block of Grant Street that was entered between Feb. 8 and 2:03 p.m. Tuesday.
900 Noyes
Someone gained entry to a studio at the Noyes Cultural Art Center in the 900 block of Noyes Street around 11:40 p.m. on Feb. 4. No items were reported taken.
700 Emerson
A purse and its contents were taken from a 2015 Ford by someone who gained entry to the vehicle and ransacked it between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
2100 Pioneer
A window was found broken on a 2014 Honda in the 2100 block of Pioneer Road between 7 a.m. Monday and 7:09 a.m. Tuesday.
500 Howard
A Noble taxicab was damaged by someone who repeatedly hit it at a gas station in the 500 block of Howard Street between 6:05 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
GRAFFITI
Ridge at Monroe
Graffiti was discovered painted on the street at Ridge Avenue and Monroe Street at 7:26 a.m. Wednesday.
TRAFFIC
1214 Greenleaf
Heather M. Lindahl, 48, of 1014 Ashland Ave., was arrested at 1214 Greenleaf St. at 11:57 a.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation.
