Evanston police say three people are in custody today following a drug raid on a home at 2120 Seward St.

The police say officers from the Neighborhood Enforcement Team recoverd 23 grams of ecstasy pills and 43 grams of marijuana along with a .38 caliber handgun when they executed a search warrant at the home about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Police Commander James Pickett says the investigation is continuing and charges have not yet been filed.

Update 9/26/08 12:40 p.m.: Police now say the three men arrested in the drug raid have all been charged with possession of a controlled substance. They’re identified as Jimmy Ray Anderson, 33, of 1458 South Canal in Chicago, Christopher Ned Irving, 24, of 6507 St. Louis in Skokie and Pierre Anthony Evans, 25, of 2120 Seward.
