Catalytic converters were stolen from three Hondas this weekend. These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Battery

1720 Maple

Christopher M. Heddon, 38, of 1720 Maple Ave., was arrested at that address at 3:57 a.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on April 12 at 9:30 a.m.

1925 Ridge

Nevalle T. Hoard, 24, of 7426 S. Ellis Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1925 Ridge Ave. at 5 p.m. Friday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on April 12 at 9:30 a.m.

Burglary

1300 Oak

A television set, a laptop computer, and miscellaneous electronics were stolen from an apartment in the 1300 block of Oak Avenue between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Friday.

1100 Maple

An apartment storage area in the 1100 block of Maple Avenue was accessed by damaging a door around 2:35 p.m. yesterday.

2300 Emerson

Vehicle parts were stolen from the garage of a home in the 2300 block of Emerson Street between Feb. 23 and 4:33 p.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

500 Forest

Two windows were damaged on a garage at a home in the 500 block of Forest Avenue between 10 a.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday.

Criminal Trespass

1100 Ridge

Talia Z. Bornstein, 27, and Rachel L. Suimoure, 28, both of 7715 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, and Brennan K. Settles, 27, of 114 Ridge Ave., were arrested between 3 and 4 a.m. yesterday near 1100 Ridge Ave. and were charged with criminal trespass of a vehicle. They are due in court on May 17 at 9 a.m.

Drugs

2602 Central

Demetrius Dar Pulley, 24, and Brandon M. Taylor, 23, both of 2602 Central St., were arrested at that address at 8:35 a.m. Saturday and charged with drug violations.

751 Howard

Jeffrey Allen Salyer, 41, of 744 Hinman Ave., was arrested at 751 Howard St. at 10:13 p.m. Saturday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Theft

500 Sheridan, 600 Hinman, 700 Forest

Catalytic converters were removed from Honda vehicles in the 500 block of Sheridan Road, 600 block of Hinman Avenue, and 700 block of Forest Avenue between 5 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday.

800 Church

Cash, gift cards, sunglasses, and jewelry were taken from a book bag at a retail establishment in the 800 block of Church Street between 1:55 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. Friday.

1400 Chicago

A watch was stolen from an apartment in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue around noon on Friday.

Traffic

2113 Darrow

Jay L. Clifton, 35, of 9992 Holly Lane, Des Plaines,, was arrested at 2113 Darrow Ave. at 4:55 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on April 21 at 9 a.m.

1740 Orrington

James J. Etienne, 32, of 7252 N. Hamilton Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1740 Orrington Ave. at 12:27 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 25 at 10:30 a.m.

Central at Green Bay\

Marcia L. Poyser, 26, of 1240 Oak Ave., was arrested at Central Street and Green Bay Road at 3:23 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. She is due in court on May 5 at 10:30 a.m.

800 Hinman

Fernando Romero, 25, of 2208 Emerson St., was arrested at 800 Hinman Ave. at 1:22 a.m. today and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on May 5 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
