Three laptop computers and jewelry were stolen from an unlocked apartment in the 1600 block of Ridge Avenue between 10 a.m. and noon Friday.
Someone stole a suitcase out of an unlocked 2008 Audi in the 1700 block of Chicago Avenue between 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 12 and 8 a.m. the following day.
Someone broke a window at an apartment in the 1100 block of Oak Avenue around 11:22 a.m. yesterday.
A window was broken in a 2015 Volkswagen in the 100 block of Custer Avenue between midnight and 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Dushaun Spruce, 22, of 1920 W. Fargo Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1949 W. Birchwood Ave., Chicago, at 11:54 p.m. yesterday and charged with a drug violation. He is due in court on Dec. 16 at 9 a.m.
Graffiti was found on a government building in the 2000 block of McCormick Boulevard at 10:51 a.m. Friday.
Graffiti defaced the alley in the 800 block of Chicago Avenue sometime Friday.
Barton at Mulford
Graffiti defaced the street at Barton Avenue and Mulford Street between midnight and 12:08 p.m. Friday.
South Boulevard at Dewey
Sebastian Casteneda, 22, of 824 Lenox, Waukegan, was arrested at 1715 South Boulevard at Dewey Ave. at 11:53 p.m. Friday and charged with a firearm violation.
Darrow at Foster
Gunshots were reported at Darrow Avenue and Foster Street at 7:51 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
An unlocked 2004 Toyota was stolen from the yard of a home in the1900 block of Darrow Avenue around 6:07 p.m. Friday.
A laptop computer was stolen from an office at Evanston Hospital around 1:20 p.m. Friday.
A license plate was taken by a known offender from a 2001 Pontiac in the 100 block of Callan Avenue at about 8 p.m. Saturday.
Andre Bellfield, 42, of 3029 Gilboa Ave., Zion, was arrested at 355 Ridge Ave. at 1:20 p.m. Friday and charged with an intent to deprive the owner of use or benefit of that owner’s property.
Nicholas B. Lauletta, 37, of 719 Blackhawk St., Chicago, was arrested at 1710 Orrington Ave. at 11:48 p.m. Friday and charged with theft by deception.
Central Park at Golf
Michael John Livingston, 26, of 124 E. Division St., Chicago, was arrested at Central Park Avenue and Golf Road at 4:25 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He is due in court on Dec. 20 at 9 a.m.
Arion Leon Samuel, 24, of 35 Hempstead Ave., Buffalo, was arrested at 2315 Dempster St. at 12:55 a.m. Friday and charged with operating a vehicle without insurance.
