Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue reported three new incidents of shoplifting. These among the stories in Thursday’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

THEFT
600 Chicago
Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue reported theft of diapers at 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, alcoholic products at 8 a.m. Wednesday, and general merchandise at 9:50 p.m. Wednesday.

2400 Howard
Vehicle parts were removed from a 2014 Toyota while it was parked in a parking lot in the 2400 block of Howard Street around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

800 Forest
Someone removed a lock from a 2003 Jeep in the 800 block of  Forest Avenue between June 21 and 12:01 p.m. Tuesday.

1800 Main
An unattended cell phone was reported stolen at Crown Community Center around 8 p.m. Monday.

2300 Foster
Cash was removed from a wallet at a residence in the 2300 block of Foster Street around 10 a.m. Tuesday.

ASSAULT
702 Madison
Michael Angelo Armstead, 54, of 111 W. Division St., Chicago, was arrested at 702 Madison St. at 11:58 p.m. Tuesday and charged with aggravated assault. He is due in court on August 16 at 9 a.m.

BATTERY
1454 Elmwood
Antwaun K.Cubie, 26, of  2300 182nd Place, Lansing, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 3:06 p.m. Monday and charged with domestic battery.

301 Elmwood
Savon Tremain Griffith, 28, of 301 Elmwood Ave., was arrested at that address at 1:03 p.m. Wednesday and charged with battery.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
1800 Main
Two windows and a stove were damaged at a residence in the 1800 block of Main Street at 12:34 p.m. Wednesday.

1600 Sheridan
A window was damaged on a government building at the beach in the 1600 block of Sheridan Road between June 6 and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

1900 Central
Someone caused damage at a residence in the 1900 block of Central Street by kicking a glass panel at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

GRAFFITI
South Boulevard at Callan
Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk at South Boulevard and Callan Avenue at 7:14 a.m.Tuesday.

700 South Boulevard
Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk in the 700 block of South Boulevard at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday.

SHOTS HEARD
1200 Wesley
Gunshots were reported in the 1200 block of Wesley Avenue at 1:05 a.m. Wednesday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
