A wallet and an Amazon Kindle were taken from a purse at Trader Joe’s on Chicago Avenue around 1 p.m. Saturday.
A wallet was removed from a purse at Whole Foods on Chicago Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
2700 Green Bay
A wallet was taken from a purse at Whole Foods on Green Bay Road between 10:45 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. Saturday.
A bicycle locked to a bike rack was stolen in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue between 12:20 p.m. and 3:50 p.m. Saturday.
A cell phone was stolen from a store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue around 3:15 p.m. Friday.
A 2013 Honda was stolen from an apartment parking space in the 1300 block of Maple Avenue between 5 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday.
A bicycle locked to a bike rack in the 2400 block of Prairie Avenue was stolen between 8:10 a.m. and 3:35 p.m. Friday.
Zachary Horvath, 32, of 4904 N. Harlem Ave., Harwood Heights, was arrested at 2121 Euclid Ave. at 1:26 p.m. Thursday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on April 18 at 9 a.m.
A burglar made off with a purse and wallet from an unlocked home in the 2200 block of Harrison Street between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday.
Someone keyed the driver side door and the rear side door of a 2007 Ford in a business parking lot in the 700 block of Howard Street around 1:12 p.m. Friday.
Graffiti was found on Chicago Transit Authority property in the 1800 block of Maple Avenue at 4:50 p.m. Saturday.
Graffiti was found on the garage of a home in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue at 9 a.m. Thursday.
Jean D. Munezero, 18, of 4848 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 613 Case St. at 1:13 a.m. Saturday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
Terrell T. Wright, 22, of 3640 Main St., Skokie, was arrested at that address at 8:28 p.m. on March 15 and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
Austin at Ridge
Police received a report of a man with a gun at Austin Street and Ridge Avenue at 11:45 a.m. Friday. They checked the area, but found no man with a gun.
Gunshots were reported in the 1800 block of Hovland Court at 10 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
Donovan C. Lewis, 41, of 7555 N. Claremont Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1000 Howard St. at 5:42 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on April 20 at 10:30 a.m.
