Four arrests—three for traffic-related offenses and one for possession of drugs–are noted in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Drugs

500 Asbury

James L. Robertson, 59, of 6504 N. Artesian Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 500 Asbury Ave. at 10:13 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Traffic

1718 Sherman

Patrick Hugh Beckford, 63, of 7009 N. Paulina Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1718 Sherman Ave. at 3:30 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Jan. 22 at 9 a.m.

724 Monroe

Gerald A. Nelson, 36, of 611 Case Pl., was arrested at 724 Monroe St. at 2:09 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Jan. 10 at 9 a.m.

1034 Michigan

Raymond E. Nelson, 33, of 928 Clyde Ave., Downers Grove, was arrested at 1034 Michigan Ave. at 1:45 a.m. today and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Jan. 10 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
