Theft
700 Chicago
A woman from Colorado said she lost her wallet out of her purse at the Hoosier Mama Restaurant in the 700 block of Chicago Avenue between 2 p.m. and 3:02 p.m. Saturday.
700 Church
A woman from California said her wallet and a bracelet were removed from her purse at the Farm House Restaurant in the 700 block of Church Street between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday.
1900 Dempster
A male customer at the McDonald’s Restaurant in the 1900 block of Dempster Street said his jacket was stolen around 10 p.m. Saturday.
600 Chicago
A shoplifter took alcoholic products from a convenience store in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue around 6:45 p.m. Saturday.
1600 Sherman
A secured bicycle was stolen from the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
600 Davis
Miscellaneous merchandise was taken from a retail establishment in the 600 block of Davis Street around 5:54 p.m. Saturday.
300 Sherman
A package of food that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 300 block of Sherman Avenue was stolen between 12:51 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday.
Drugs
921 Sheridan
Samantha J. Shvartsman, 24, of 4861 N. Talman Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 921 Sheridan Road at 3:30 a.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Graffiti
1700 Main
Graffiti was discovered at a construction site in the 1700 block of Main Street at 2:42 a.m. yesterday.
Traffic
1919 Dempster
Donziel Eugene Acker, 25, of 1935 Jackson Ave., was arrested at 1919 Dempster St. at 4:15 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on April 26 at 9 a.m.
1300 Grove
Charllienne C. Figueroa, 35, of 2008 Pratt Court, was arrested at 1300 Grove St. at 11:44 a.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on May 1 at 9 a.m.
1012 Chicago
Anthony H. Tran, 23, of 6336 N. Kedzie Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1012 Chicago Ave. at 5:37 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 15 at 9 a.m.
An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
