A postal worker complained that someone pointed a gun at her around midday Friday near Emerson Street and Brown Avenue.

600 Barton

A 32-inch television set was stolen from an apartment in the 600 block of Barton Avenue between 8:25 a.m. and 5:08 p.m. Friday.

2100 Central

Someone broke a window at a restaurant in the 2100 block of Central Street around 2:56 a.m. yesterday and stole a cash register box containing about $300.

1400 Rosalie

Someone entered an unlocked 2007 Acura in the 1400 block of Rosalie Street between 4 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday.

2700 Marcy

Someone entered an unlocked 1996 Honda in the 2700 block of Marcy Avenue between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday and stole cash..

2700 Princeton 

Someone entered an unlocked 2011 Hyundai in the driveway of a home in the 2700 block of Princeton Avenue around 7 a.m. yesterday and stole cash.

2700 Asbury

Someone entered an unlocked 2015 Subaru in the 2700 block of Asbury Avenue between 4 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday and stole cash.

Someone entered an unlocked 2015 Honda in the 2700 block of Asbury Avenue between 11 p.m. Saturday and 5 a.m. Sunday and stole cash and a pair of black sunglasses.

Someone entered an unlocked 2012 Toyota in the 2700 block of Asbury Avenue between 12:15 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday and stole a cell phone.

600 Central

Someone entered an unlocked Toyota in the 600 block of Central Street between 2:10 p.m. and 5:35 p.m. Friday and stole a purse.

800 Case

Someone damaged the door to an apartment in the 800 block of Case Street between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday and stole cash and watches.

Criminal Damage

100 Asbury

Someone cracked a window of a 2000 Toyota in the alley of the 100 block of Asbury Avenue around 8:39 p.m. yesterday.

600 Lake

Mirrors were damaged on a 2013 Hyundai in the 600 block of Lake Street between 9 p.m. on May 16 and 4:45 p.m. Friday

1800 Maple

A computer was damaged in an apartment/condo common area in the 1800 block of Maple Avenue around 8:45 p.m. Friday. Suspect is a 5-foot-9-inch-tall male weighing 180 pounds.

2000 Darrow

A fence was damaged at an apartment/condo common area in the 2000 block of Darrow Avenue between 11 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. yesterday.

1700 McDaniel

A 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was damaged when someone pushed it over between 8 p.m. Thursday and 5:45 a.m. Friday.

1890 Maple

Ankit Kumar, 27, of 1725 Orrington Ave., was arrested at 1890 Maple Ave. at 11:50 p.m. Friday and charged with criminal damage to property.

Drugs

811 Foster

Brendan Murphy, 19, of 9947 S. Hamilton, Chicago, was arrested at 811 Foster St. at 1:20 a.m. yesterday and charged with possession of cannabis. He is due in court on June 20 at 9 a.m.

Graffiti

700 Howard

Graffiti was discovered at a business establishment in the 700 block of Howard Street at 9:06 a.m. Friday.

Other

1800 Hovland

A man with a gun was reported in the 1800 block of Hovland Terrace at 10:48 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found no one with a weapon.

1620 Orrington

Maliq D. Banks, 19, of 1634 Pitner Ave., Demitrius R. Bogan, 20, of  1913 Wesley  Ave., and Shawn Gallimore, 25, of 2151 Dewey Ave.,  were arrested at 1620 Orrington Ave., at 2:05 a.m. yesterday and charged with mob action, following a fight at a restaurant. They are due in court on June 13 at 9 a.m.

1601 Orrington

Miguel L. Delgado, 31, of 2151 Dewey Ave., was arrested at 1601 Orrington Ave. at 2:15 a.m. yesterday and charged with disobedience to police.  He is due in court on June 27 at 9 a.m.

811 Foster

David Roth, 19, of 10512 S. Talman, Chicago, was arrested at 811 Foster St. at 1:20 a.m. yesterday and charged with possession of false identification. He is due in court on June 20 at 9 a.m.

Shots Heard

1800 Grey

Gunshots were reported in the 1800 block of Grey Avenue at about 1:10 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Theft

2400 Howard

A mountain bike was stolen at a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street shortly after 9 p.m. Friday.

Bicycle parts were stolen at a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday.

900 Sherman

Bike parts were stolen from an apartment/condo common area in the 900 block of Sherman Avenue between 4 p.m. on May 15 and 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

1000 Forest

Car tires and rims were stolen from a 1998 Honda in the 1000 block of Forest Avenue between 11 p.m. Thursday and 7:45 a.m. Friday.

2700 Park

A womens bicycle was stolen from the yard of a home in the 2700 block of Park Place around 7:45 a.m. Friday.

2100 Sheridan

A backpack and a laptop computer left unattended at a religious institution in the 2100 block of Sheridan Road were stolen between 11 a.m. and noon yesterday.

2200 Asbury

A cedar plank swing set was stolen from the yard of a home in the 2200 block of Asbury Avenue between 8 p.m. Thursday and noon on Friday.

1700 Leland

Two leather purses were taken without permission and intentionally damaged from a home in the 1700 block of Leland Avenue between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday.

Traffic

101 Asbury

Darnell W. E. Dawson, 29, of 6300 N. Leavitt, Chicago, was arrested at 101 Asbury Ave. at 6:50 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 30 at 1:30 p.m.

1201 Davis

Patrick William Martin, 33, of 602 Earlston, Kenilworth, was arrested at 1201 Davis St. at 2:06 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on June 20 at 9 a.m.
