Four vehicles were scratched up in a parking lot in the 2600 block of Green Bay Road, just a short distance from the Northwestern-Indiana State football game Saturday. This among stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

2600 Green Bay

The owners of a 2017 Ford, a 2017 Nissan, a 2018 BMW, and a 2009 Mercedes reported to police that their vehicles had been scratched, or “keyed,” in the 2600 block of Green Bay Road, just a couple of blocks from Ryan Field, where Northwestern University was battling Indiana State in football.

THEFT

2400 Main

Alcoholic products were stolen from the Food 4 Less grocery store in the 2400 block of Main Street around 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

1400 Chicago

A secured lime green bicycle was stolen from the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue at about 12:45 a.m. today.

400 Darrow

A catalytic converter was removed from a 2009 Honda in the 400 block of Darrow Avenue between 10 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Sunday.

1900 Keeney

A catalytic converter was removed from a 2007 Honda in the 1900 block of Keeney Street between 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
