Battery

1502 Monroe

Sarah A. Brown, 24, of 1502 Monroe Ave., was arrested at that address at noon Saturday and charged with domestic battery. She is due in court on Aug. 10 at 9:30 a.m.

Burglary

1200 Washington

Someone accessed a 2001 Ford parked unlocked in the 1200 block of Washington Street between 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday.

2100 Howard

A laptop computer was stolen from a 2015 Ford parked unlocked in the 2100 block of Howard Street between 8 a.m. Thursday and 7:45 a.m. Friday.

1500 Sherman

A backpack-style purse and a Nikon camera were stolen from a hotel room in the 1500 block of Sherman Avenue between midnight and 8:45 a.m. Friday

100 Dempster

A backpack and camera equipment were stolen from a 2012 Nissan parked unlocked in the 100 block of Dempster Street around 7 a.m. Saturday.

2500 Marcy

An unlocked garage door at a home in the 2500 block of Marcy Avenue provided access for a burglar who stole a bicycle around 4 a.m. Saturday.

700 Brummel

Cash and an iPad were taken from an unlocked 2003 Mercedes-Benz in the 700 block of Brummel Street between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 7:25 a.m. Friday.

3000 Central

Jeffrey A. Craig, 24, of 1827 Lyons St., was arrested at 3000 Central St. at 4:16 a.m.  Saturday and charged with burglary. He is due in court on Sept. 8 at 9 a.m.

500 Sheridan

Someone attempted to gain entry to a Dodge motor vehicle in the 500 block of Sheridan Square between 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday.

600 Sheridan

A GPS unit and a cell phone were taken from a 2010 Chevrolet in the 600 block of Sheridan Square between 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

2400 Main

Scratches appeared on a 2009 Honda in a business parking lot in the 2400 block of Main Street between 3:40 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. yesterday.

Milburn Park

Four beach chairs were found burned on a private beach at the end of Milburn Park, just south of the Grosse Point Lighthouse, between 2 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday.

1100 Dobson

Someone broke a window with a rock in the 1100 block of Dobson Street around 1:30 p.m. Saturday .Suspects include three 5-foot-6-inch-tall males weighing 120 pounds.

Drugs

Dodge at Greenwood

Tashwan V. Owen, 28, of 1321 Dobson Ave., was arrested at Dodge Avenue and Greenwood Street at 7:05 p.m. Saturday and charged with possession of cannabis. He was due in court yesterday  at 8 a.m.

2004 Wesley

Stephen A. Adams, 22, of 1824 Grey Ave., was arrested at 2004 Wesley Ave. at 6:02 p.m. Saturday and charged with unlawful contact with gang members. He is due in court on Aug. 31 at 10:30 a.m.

Shots Heard

2000 Bennett

Gunshots were reported in the 2000 block of Bennett Avenue at 1:10 a.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

1200 Greenleaf

Gunshots were reported in the 1200 block of Greenleaf Street at 10:10 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Theft

1500 Maple

A bicycle was stolen from an apartment parking lot in the 1500 block of Maple Avenue between 4 p.m. Thursday and 5:20 p.m. Saturday.

1900 Dempster

A 2010 four-door Chevrolet Malibu, with keys in the vehicle, was stolen in the 1900 block of Dempster Street around 11 a.m. Friday.

1800 Dempster

A theft occurred at a restaurant in the 1800 block of Dempster Street between 2:20 p.m. and 3:44 p.m. yesterday.

700 Dobson

An electric lawnmower, hundreds of CDs and DVDs, and a set of silver were stolen from an apartment/condo common area in the 700 block of Dobson Street between 12:10 p.m. Friday and 12:20 p.m. yesterday

2000 Greenwood

Four tires and rims were stolen off a 2016 Nissan in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Greenwood Street between 6 p.m. Thursday and 8:45 a.m. Friday.

2200 Sherman

A package was found opened after delivery to an apartment-condo common area in the 2200 block of Sherman Avenue between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday.

1900 Asbury

A cell phone was taken from an apartment/condo common area in the 1900 block of Asbury Avenue between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

1600 Church

A license plate was removed from a 2014 Land Rover between 1 a.m. and 11:50 a.m. Friday in the 1600 block of Church Street.

Traffic

2135 Central

Marcos Baltierrez, 22, of 2657 N. Ridgeway, Chicago, was arrested at 2135 Central St. at 11:19 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 8 at 10:30 a.m.

1300 Dodge

Thomas Maurice Underwood, 36, of 8028 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, was arrested at 1300 Dodge Ave. at 7:10 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Aug. 31 at 10:30 a.m.
