Someone received a punch in the face at a bar or tavern in the 1900 block of Central Street at about 11:25 p.m. yesterday.
A laptop computer and a trumpet were among items taken from a 2003 Pontiac in the 800 block of Forest Avenue between 3 p.m. June 23 and 8 a.m. June 24.
A 2016 Subaru and a 2003 Toyota that were unlocked in the driveway of a home in the 200 block of Burnham Place were entered by burglars between 7 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. yesterday.
Cash and a wallet were among items taken in the burglary of four unlocked cars—a 2009 Toyota, a 2008 Ford, a 2015 Lexus, and a 2015 Acura—in the 2500 block of Ridgeway Avenue between 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. yesterday.
Two laptop computers were taken from an apartment in the 2000 block of Maple Avenue around 3 p.m. yesterday.
Dodge at Howard
Gunshots were reported near Dodge Avenue and Howard Street at 9:51 p.m. Tuesday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
Cash, flowers, and a backpack were taken from the yard of a home in the 1800 block of Brummel Street shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
A purse and a cell phone were taken from a religious institution in the 800 block of Ridge Avenue around 8:15 a.m. yesterday.
Two wallets were removed from purses at a restaurant in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue at 12:21 p.m. yesterday.
Jeremy E. A. Brooks, 25, of 1838 Ashland Ave., was arrested at 2220 Greenleaf St. at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Aug. 3 at 9 a.m.
James L. Christie, 34, of 1637 W. Estes, Chicago, was arrested at 7700 Sheridan Road at 10:06 a.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 29 at 10:30 a.m.
Benard J. Dillon, 59, of 4646 N. Greenview Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 741 Sheridan Road at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 29 at 10:30 a.m.
Koren T. Vanzo Sinsuk, 58, of 4546 N. Hermitage, Chicago, was arrested at 7700 Sheridan Road at 8:42 a.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 29 at 10:30 a.m.
