Burglaries and thefts have added five more bicycles to the list of stolen or missing in Evanston. These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Battery

2121 Darrow

Andre R. Seals, 34, of 2121 Darrow Ave., was arrested at that address at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and charged with aggravated battery.

909 Davis

Allante A. Wallace, 25, of 818 E. 44th St., Chicago, was arrested at 909 Davis St. at 1:15 p.m. Saturday and charged with simple battery. He is due in court on Oct. 24 at 9 a.m.

Burglary

2600 Payne

A bicycle was stolen from the garage of a home in the 2600 block of Payne Street between midnight and 8 a.m. yesterday.

2700 Gross Point

A burglar broke a window at a park in the 2700 block of Gross Point Road at about 2 p.m. Friday.

Criminal Damage

1700 Chicago

Someone broke a window at an apartment/condo common area around 10 p.m. Friday

Graffiti

2200 Oakton

Graffiti was found at a public facility in the 2200 block of Oakton Street at 1:02 p.m. Saturday.

Howard at Custer

Graffiti was found at a bus stop near Howard Street and Custer Avenue at 1:21 p.m. Friday

Other

600 Howard

Police received a report of a man with a gun in the 600 block of Howard Street at about 8:50 p.m. Saturday. They checked the area but found no man with a gun.

Shots Heard

1700 South Boulevard

Gunshots were reported in the 1700 block of South Boulevard at about 11 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Theft

1700 Oakton

Tools were removed from the locked bed of a truck in the 1700 block of Oakton Street between 9 p.m. Thursday and 6:45 a.m. Friday.

800 Greenleaf

A cell phone was stolen from an unlocked locker at Nichols Middle School around 11:27 a.m. Friday.

500 Michigan

A Trek hybrid bicycle was stolen from an apartment/condo common area in the 500 block of Michigan Avenue between Sept. 18 and 4 p.m. Friday.

1100 Chicago

A men’s mountain bike locked to a bike storage rack in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue was stolen around 8:15 p.m. Saturday. Suspect is a 5-foot-6-inch-tall black male weighing 120 pounds.

1400 Judson

A new cell phone delivered to the porch of a home in the 1400 block of Judson Avenue was stolen between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Oak at Davis

A men’s bicycle was stolen from a bike storage rack near Oak Avenue and Davis Street at about 9 p.m. Wednesday.

1100 Chicago

A bicycle was stolen from a bike storage rack in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. yesterday.

2100 Harrison

An American flag was removed from the porch of a home in the 2100 block of Harrison Street between 8 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. yesterday.

2485 Howard

Marcaisse E. Baptiste, 18, of 6907 N. Ashland, Chicago, was arrested at 2485 Howard St. at 2:40 p.m. Thursday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Oct. 24 at 9 a.m.

2748 Green Bay

Delano Dedric Starks, 44, of 324 N. Lotus Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2748 Green Bay Road at 3:30 p.m. Thursday and charged with retail theft.
