60-inch TV taken from Mulford apartment

A 60-inch television set, plus perfume and jewlery, were among items taken in the burglary of an apartment in the 700 block of Mulford Street.This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

700 Mulford

Burglars took a 60-inch television set, plus perfume and jewelry, from an apartment in the 700 block of Mulford Street between midnight Saturday and 12:30 p.m. Monday.

Drugs

1835 Dodge

Kenneth W. Tate, 57, of 1913 Foster St., was arrested at 1835 Dodge Ave., at 6:59 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Theft

700 Church

A wallet, left unattended in an office building in the 700 block of Church Street, was stolen between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. yesterday.

Traffic

Ridge at Brummel

Katherine E. Anderson, 32, of 1414 Somerset Ave., Deerfield, was arrested at Ridge Avenue and Brummel Street at 1:03 a.m. today and charged with driving under the influence. She is due in court on June 27 at 10:30 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
