A burglary at a construction site on Central Street resulted in the disappearance of some tools and copper wire. Also, there were thefts recently of a wallet, a sign, a package, and some personal items. These among the stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

BURGLARY

2800 Central

Tools and copper wire were missing at a construction site in the 2800 block of Central Street after a burglary between 11 p.m. Sunday and 12:15 a.m. Monday.

THEFT

1500 Central

A wallet and its contents were stolen from the 1500 block of Central Street between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday.

1000 Central

A sign was taken from the street in the 1000 block of Central Street at about midnight Monday.

800 Monroe

A delivered package was stolen from a residence in the 800 block of Monroe Street around 3 p.m. Monday.

900 Maple

Personal items were taken from a residence in the 900 block of Maple Avenue around noon on Thursday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
