A charcoal grill was stolen from the patio of a home in the 2200 block of Wesley Avenue sometime within the last month.
1600 Chicago
A secured Schwinn bicycle was stolen from the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Friday.
3100 Central
A bicycle was taken from the garage of a home in the 3100 block of Central Street just before noon on Saturday.
1800 Maple
A bicycle that was secured to a bike rack was stolen from the 1800 block of Maple Street between 2:15 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday.
2200 Howard
A shoplifter took a cell phone and some computer equipment from a store in the 2200 block of Howard Street around 2:45 p.m. Thursday.
1100 Darrow
Documents and glasses were taken from an apartment in the 1100 block of Darrow Avenue around 8:18 a.m. yesterday.
1800 Central
A purse was removed from the seat of a commuter train at the Central Street Metra station at about 10 p.m. yesterday.
ASSAULT
1458 Chicago
Lamont A. Powells, 37, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at that address at 11:12 p.m. Friday and charged with assault. He is due in court on Sept. 21 at 9 a.m.
BURGLARY
200 Richmond
A tablet computer was taken from an unlocked 2004 Acura in the 200 block of Richmond Avenue between 8 p.m. July 4 and 9 a.m. on July 5.
2100 Noyes
A gaming system was taken from a home in the 2100 block of Noyes Street between July 24 and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
1300 Greenleaf
Someone broke the rear window of a 2014 Ford in the 1300 block of Greenleaf Street between 9:45 p.m. Thursday and 8:50 a.m. Friday.
2600 Bennett
All four tires were slashed on a 2012 Mitsubishi in the 2600 block of Bennett Avenue between 5:30 p.m. Thursday and 1 p.m. Friday.
800 Simpson
A window was damaged on a home in the 800 block of Simpson Street around 12:30 a.m. yesterday.
GRAFFITI
Pitner at Washington
Graffiti was discovered on an office building at Pitner Avenue and Washington Street at 9:23 a.m. Saturday.
Green Bay at Emerson
Graffiti was discovered on railroad property near Green Bay Road and Emerson Street at 8:05 a.m. Friday.
Ridge at Emerson
Graffiti was discovered on railroad property near Ridge Avenue and Emerson Street at 8:05 a.m. Friday.
OTHER
800 Grove
Jack K. Metzler, 19, of 1913 WesleyAve., was arrested at 800 Grove St. at 11:24 p.m. Friday and charged with disorderly conduct. He was due in court on Aug. 1 at 9 a.m.
TRAFFIC
Darrow at Dempster
Alexis Hernandez, 25, of 4202 11th St., Winthrop Harbor, was arrested at Darrow Avenue and Dempster Street at 8:24 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Aug. 25 at 10:30 a.m.
900 Dodge
Manuel Munoz, 20, of 1801 Brown Ave., was arrested at 900 Dodge Ave. at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation.
